What are eUpdates?
United Way of New York City wants to keep our supporters informed of how we're helping year-round. Subscribers to eUpdates receive periodic emails about programs and efforts we're leading to help New Yorkers in need build more self-sufficient lives. We never solicit for donations via eUpdates -- we use them to communicate the work we do in the community throughout the year.
How often do you send out eUpdates?
Our eUpdates are sent out quarterly. You may also receive additional eUpdates if you are a Leadership Giver or Campaign Leader and have requested to receive special information and notification about United Way events, announcements and services.
Will my email address be shared with anyone else?
No. United Way of New York City does not sell, share or rent email addresses and other personal information with third parties.
My email program doesn't accept HTML emails, just text. Can I still receive eUpdates?
Yes. We use an email distribution program that checks your account for special requirements. We can automatically send eUpdates in text format if your account does not accept HTML.
Can I share eUpdates with others?
Absolutely -- our Send to a Friend feature makes it easy to forward our current eUpdate to up to six of your friends and colleagues at a time, with no risk to your privacy or theirs.
What if I want to stop receiving eUpdates?
Simply send an email to remove@uwnyc.org with "Remove eUpdate" as the subject.
