Thanks for your interest in supporting the LIVE UNITED Day of Action.
Sponsorship and donations for the walk and volunteer festival are strictly voluntary. We greatly appreciate the generous efforts of any individual, team or organization that chooses to provide financial support. All sponsorships and donations will support our work in improving Education, Income and Health in New York City.
Corporate and Organization Sponsorship
Organizations that make a contribution of $1,500 will be recognized as an official walk sponsor. As an extra thanks, we’ll deliver your team’s free LIVE UNITED T-shirts to your workplace the week before the walk takes place. Team Fundraising
Teams that wish to raise money for the walk are invited to utilize the Walk Shoebox for great tools, tips and ideas on how to generate donations and excitement for your walk. Please contact your United Way Representative for questions or assistance with team fundraising efforts.
Individual Walkers
You do not have to collect pledges for this walk – but we do hope that you will invite your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues to walk with you across the Brooklyn Bridge and attend the Volunteer Festival in Cadman Plaza Park. If you would like to help raise money to improve Education, Income and Health in New York City, use our Walk Shoebox to learn how – or simply send an email to your contacts and invite them to make a donation in your name on the donation form on our walk site.
About Making Donations on Behalf of a Team or Individual
The Donation form gives donors the ability to easily search for registered teams and individual walkers. Registered teams and walkers can check to see who is supporting you and how much money you have raised by logging in.
