75 Years of United Way of New York City
United Way of New York City wants all New Yorkers to have the opportunities and skills necessary to lead successful lives. Education makes that possible, so we work to ensure that vulnerable youth get the quality education they deserve. We also create opportunities for our low-income neighbors who need them most—opportunities that so many of us take for granted, like the chance to go to college or to open a savings account.
For 75 years, United Way of New York City has been bringing together individuals and organizations from all sectors to design and invest in initiatives that inform public policies, systems, and practices that prevent and alleviate poverty and advance the common good.
