Do you need help filing your taxes?

Published

United Way of New York City announces two ways to get help filing your taxes and find out if you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit.

MyFreeTaxes.com is a free service sponsored by the Walmart Foundation in partnership with One Economy Corporation, National Disabilities Institute's Real Economic Impact Tour, and United Way Worldwide. Visit the site to file your taxes online or to find locations in your ZIP code where you can go for help filing your taxes.

You can also get help filing your taxes at a MoneyUP VITA site. United Way of New York City and The Financial Clinic offer free tax preparation help and financial coaching.  Individuals and families who earned $50,000 or less in 2011 are eligible for free tax preparation as part of MoneyUP.
