United Way of New York City's Graduate, Prepare, Succeed (GPS-NYC) initiative was featured in an episode of WNET's MetroFocus titled "Education Innovation" that premiered on May 17, 2012.  “Education Innovation" explores what's new and improving in education and features Sal Khan, internet educator and one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people; bestselling author and Harvard professor Michael Sandel; an interview with NYC Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott; an examination of the evolving issue of teacher evaluations; interviews with the New Jersey and New York state education commissioners; and a first-hand look at our GPS-NYC program.
