United Way Of New York City Announces Head Of Human Capital

New York, NY—United Way of New York City (UWNYC) is proud to name Teresa Evans as Senior Director and Head of Human Capital. In this role, Teresa will manage all aspects of Human Resources such as recruitment, compensation, policy development, performance management, employee relations, professional development, and employee engagement. Additionally, Teresa will manage benefits and payroll administration for UWNYC through a Professional Employer Organization.

I joined United Way of New York City to enhance the Human Resource role and make a difference at one of the premier nonprofit organizations in New York City,” said Teresa.

Prior to joining UWNYC, Teresa was Director and Human Resources Business Partner at Freedom Mortgage. Teresa also supported Chartis in their Diversity initiatives as Chief Diversity Officer developing specific talent acquisition programs that leveraged partnerships with diverse organizations.

Teresa also serves on the Board of Eagle Academy Foundation, sits on the Advisory Council of Adelphi University, a served for over three years as Co-Chair of the SUNY Farmingdale Diversity Summit.

United Way of New York City is thrilled to have Teresa as a member of the leadership team and looks forward to seeing successes for the organization under her leadership.
