2019 Gridiron Gala Post-Game Report
Thank you for teaming up with United Way of New York City (UWNYC), the New York Jets, and the New York Giants to make our 26th Annual Gridiron Gala an incredible success—raising more than $2 million to power our fight for the self-sufficiency of every low-income New Yorker!
A special thanks to our 2019 honorees: Hometown Heroes— Michael Thomas and Avery Williamson, Community Quarterbacks— George Brooks, Laurie Mahon and Donald Hong, and MVP, Stephen J. Dannhauser.
Celebrating our 26th Year of Connecting with Communities
For 26 years, United Way of New York City, the New York Jets, and the New York Giants have come together for the Gridiron Gala. The Gala is a celebration of the impact our partnership has made and an appeal for continued collaboration that supports education, health, and the financial stability of our struggling neighbors and putting them on the path to self-sufficiency.
